Beebe Gunn Studio offers the highest quality professional recording services for bands, individuals, and businesses in and around Houston. Located in Midtown Houston, one block from the legendary Continental Club, Beebe Gunn features a 450 sq ft sound proof recording room with an isolation booth large enough for multiple vocalists or a piano. It also features natural lighting to reduce the “cave” effect common in many studios. The 250 sq ft control room offers clear sight lines to all areas of the recording room and offers comfortable seating and accurate monitoring.
Each room has separate heating and cooling controls as well as dimmable lighting to ensure a comfortable environment. All of the musical instruments in the studio are available for client use, and the studio is also equipped with a refrigerator, a bathroom, and a small kitchen area.

Local musician, entertainer and booking agent Allen Hill decided to embark on a project he had never done before: a solo project. Allen brought in many of the great musicians he knows around town for a collection of songs aptly named, “All Over the Map.” Allen and I discussed the feeling he wanted from the recorded and we decided that the best approach for the energy would be to record as much live as possible. The record has an awesome high energy live feel and was great to be a part of.

Born into a musical family, Houston native Paul Beebe is a talented engineer, producer, arranger, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has been making recordings for close to two decades and professionally since 2005. In that time, Beebe Gunn Studio has grown from a mic and laptop in his bedroom into the full-service, state-of-the-art facility it is today through countless hours of trial and error, research, and the gradual accumulation of more and better recording gear.
Paul’s musical bona-fides are second-to-none. He holds a BA in Music Theory from Tulane University and has made a living as a musician since 2000. Paul currently performs in five bands, Thunderado, Beetle, Light Rock Express, Disco Expressions, and Grand Old Grizzly. His talents as an arranger, singer and performer on guitar, bass, drums, and piano are available a no extra cost, if desired, to all customers of Beebe Gunn.
Paul was recently profiled by Elizabeth Carroll Parks of the Houston Chronicle. He’s a Genre-Bending Cover-Band Legend!
